police say, a woman called for help st. an assailant or assailants have ransacked the home and beat her. when officers arrived they found him dead. his wife was taken to the hospital and her injuries are not considered serious. authorities and then santa cruz are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who was found dead in a rain swollen creek then capitola early friday morning. as kron4 as rob/a boy explains the discovery comes right after a homeless man was reported missing and investigators are wondering if there is a connection. >> this is a the creek and this is where the body was recovered. police also checking to see whether the
